I like the gray grout to add a contrast and show the pattern. I only have seen the light gray in pictures. I had wanted white cabinets with white subway tile but my cabinets ended up having a yellow undertone so i went with a light gray subway tile and yes the grout decision took a while but ultimately i matched the grout with the tile for a seamless look.
