How to apply metal roof coating.
You can use a roller or sprayer to apply the coating in the first place.
You will be using a 9 inch heavy duty frame inch paint roller for spreading coating on roof or 1 1 4 inch roller for dipping in pail and a 5 to 6 foot extension pole.
Make sure that it is ideal for the roof s material and slope.

There are two ways to apply coating and it is important to choose a product that fits individual needs.
Most metal shingles will be attached to the roof using metal shingle.
If the roof is rather larger you better use a sprayer instead of a brush or roller.
Brush over the entire area of the roof and carefully follow the instructions on the label for proper coverage.
Lay the starter row of metal shingles at the drip edge and affix to the roof with metal roofing nails.
Start on one end of the roof and work toward the other side.
Applying the coating.
Do not apply too thick of a coat as it will dry and crack over time.
You cannot imagine how long you need to cover the entire roof.
A roof coating system is an effective solution for stopping leaks and other issues.
Use a 3 4 inch roller with basecoats and emulsions.
First carefully read the directions on the coating product.
Climb down the ladder and allow time to dry.
For better results use a trowel or roof brush to apply patching compound.
Apply coating when the roof is dry and the sealant has set.
Mix the roof coating and begin applying with a roof brush.
Work up from the initial row starting at the lower corner in a diagonal pattern staggering the shingles to prevent gaps.
